My Teachers
Rose Borges
Rose is another Brazilian artist I met by means of "La bottega delle ceramiche"; She is very clever in painting roses with the technique of impressionism, always using soft-oil.
She has a sunny nature and she leads seminars with joyfulness and liveliness, devoting each student the same time and suggestions.
She likes a lot to mix different techniques; so my works with her always require one phase after another and a few fires. For this reason I have been worth the fame of "The woman who never leave the stage with a finished piece".
Most of people who attend these kinds of courses actually like works demanding only one fire, so they can come back home with their finished piece after only a one-day stage.
My work engagements permitting (I have already told you that painting is a hobby for me, haven't I?), I instead try to attend the course some days more, even if not consecutively, and taking advantage of the calendar of Rose and Eduardo, that plans they come to Italy at least twice a year: so I usually begin a piece in springtime and I finish it in autumn, working alone during the summertime.
With Rose I did - for example - the tray with the pumpkins an that with nets and shells, and more the tile with the tiger and the tray with the leopard.
